While the Nikon COOLPIX S3700 and Nikon COOLPIX S7000 digital cameras may look very similar they are not. The Nikon COOLPIX S7000 has a lot of features and options that aren't on the Nikon S3700 like larger movie size options in Full HD and an HDMI output port so you can view them on an HDMI compatible television. The Nikon S7000 also provides up to 7 shots at approximately 9.2 frames per second, compared to 6 shots at about 1.1 frames per second for the Nikon S3700. In addition the Nikon S7000 provides more ISO and a 20x lens zoom. One advantage the Nikon S3700 has over the Nikon COOLPIX S7000 is more effective megapixels. The Nikon S7000 offers 16.0 million while the Nikon S3700 provides 20.1 million. Another advantage is that the NIkon S3700 is lighter in weight than the Nikon S7000. Both cameras have built-in WiFi so images can be transferred instantly to a compatible smart device running the Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) application.
