“Does image stabilization compensate for shaky hands of the photographer? My 9 year old camera had a shaky hands setting which you had to select to use. It's time to replace the camera, but I need this feature or most of my pics are blurry. A tripod won't be useful for the way I use the camera. Thanks!”

• The camera worked wonderfully under all conditions, including shake hands! Also, when I subject was moving it captured it perfectly with no blurry image.

• Yes, unless you zoom all the way in, then it still shakes

• The COOLPIX S7000 features both Photo and Movie Vibration Reduction (VR) for image stabilization. Photo VR is managed in the Settings Menu (wrench icon) and and Movie VR can be found in the Movie Menu (movie camera icon).
