“Can you recharge this battery while in the camera? Is it a USB to Micro USB cord? I am wondering if I can charge it from a large brick while backpacking. Thanks.”

The Nikon COOLPIX S7000 digital camera comes with a EN-EL19 Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery, a UC-E21 USB Cable and an EH-71P Charging AC adapter. To charge the battery you place the battery in the camera before connecting the camera, the UC-E21 USB Cable and the EH-71P Charging AC adapter together and plugging the adapter into a wall outlet. Any use of non-Nikon products or 3rd party products is not recommended and could damage the camera and may void your Nikon warranty.
