The COOLPIX S7000 can save images and movies to either its internal memory or to a memory card (not included). The S7000 has about 20MB of internal memory which is enough for 1 or 2 still photos taken at the camera’s default settings. The exact number of shots that you can get with the internal memory will vary depending on your camera’s settings. The camera’s approved memory card list includes cards as large as 128GB. A list of approved cards can be found on page 21 of the COOLPIX S7000 QuickStart Guide or page 21 of the COOLPIX S7000 reference manual. Both the Quickstart Guide and the Reference Manual can be downloaded from here: http://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/205/COOLPIX_S7000.html.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera has basically no internal memory....you must get a SD card. Also, reducing the megapixel will increase the amount of photos you can take.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sorry I cant answer your question. But the first time i used this exact same model Nikon camera was at a wedding..and it froze in the open mode, could not take any pictures and i was unable to close the camera down. I pulled the battery, pulled the memory card(multiple times) tired to re-set/re-boot the camera...and nothing...it just sat on the table with the lens extended and on lock down and unable to take a picture. i took it back and Best Buy and gave me a new camera. I did take about 50 pictures before the camera locked and they were all there on the memory card when i put that same card in the new camrea when it arrrived 2 days later from Best Buy. Great Service from Best Buy ....by the way did you try a different memory card?? just trying to isolate...is it the card or the camera??? Good luck
