Using a tripod is always a good idea, especially when taking photos at night. You have to decrease the shutter speed to at least 1 second or longer, otherwise you have "camera shake" ;in other words, blurry photos. It also provides a stable foundation for taking photos on mountain areas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The D3200 has a standard 1/4 in. tripod socket on the bottom of the camera. Any sturdy well built tripod will work fine.
