“Wi-Fi and Adapter. I just bought this camera about a month ago and asked the store about the Wi-Fi so I could transfer my photos wireless. I was told there was no adapter for this camera and it would not take one even if there was because it has a built in Wi-Fi system. Now I see in the on-line ad that you get a free "Nikon - WU-1A Wireless Mobile Adapter - Black". Is this adapter brand new and will override the built in Wi-Fi or is it useless? I have to say I am rather perplexed and ticked since I bought a good amount of equipment at the same time.”

When used with the WU-1A, the D3300 can transfer images to compatible Android or iOS smart devices that are running the free Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) app.
