For Scenic landscapes you want a camera that has a good wider angle lens so that you can capture the whole scene. The 18-55mm lens that comes with the D3300 body - in the kit here at Best Buy - enables you to do that. Something else that the D3300 can do - panorama's - IN CAMERA. You set the camera to Easy Panorama mode, the camera does all the work. It locks the exposure and all you do, in the camera's Live View Mode, is pano across the scene you are capturing and press the shutter when you are done. The camera will then stitch the files together and show you the final result!
