“I need to be able to geotag my pictures. I can do it now by syncing a Bad Elf GPS to the cameras that I use. But I would like to increase the MP quality a little over the D90. Would the D3400 be able to sync with Bad Elf?”

The D3400 can connect via Bluetooth to compatible Android or iOS smart device via Nikon’s free SnapBridge app. When connected in this manner the camera can download location data via SnapBridge. Connection to other Bluetooth enabled devices is not supported.
