The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera is great for taking images of your children playing sports. There are many options for getting awesome action images with this camera. One easy way to get beautifully sharp outdoor sports images is to place the camera in Sports Mode. Sports Mode has settings that are pre-adjusted; all the user has to do is simply place it in mode, then point and shoot. This mode is easily accessed by using the mode dial on top of the camera. Inside sports require that you change some of the settings, as there may be a variety of different lighting situations that can affect the images overall, but this camera is very user friendly and provides amazing images when settings are adjusted correctly. Keep in mind this lens vs shutter speed rule. Shutter speed must be faster than the mm you are shooting at. Example, if you are shooting at 200mm (using the 70-300), your shutter speed must be at least 250 in order to avoid blurry shots. Shooting 50mm with the 18-55 lens, your shutter speed should be at least 75mm to avoid blurry shots. etc.
