• Nikon does not make a compatible mic for the the Nikon D3400 DSLR camera, as this camera does not come with a mic jack, and cannot comment on any third party product use. The correct and compatible USB cable for this camera body is the optional UC-E21 USB cable, which is only used for connecting to a computer to allow image transfer.
