• This is a D-SLR not a Bridge or pocket zoom camera. As in film photography, You twist the lens barrel to zoom. The included lens is NOT a long reach zoom lens for arena sports or birding - it is more of a wide angle to standard portraiture lens. The lens will autofocus and auto adjust aperture in the Tv or AUTO modes. But you can run it manually when you get advanced skills.
