• A Nikon camera works with Nikon lenses. A Canon camera works with Canon lenses. They each have different mounts. Honestly, the camera companies would rather sell you lenses than a camera body, most photographers have more lenses than bodies.

• You would need to use Nikon lenses. The mounts on the Canon lenses do not fit directly on Nikon camera body's - and vice versa.
