The Nikon D5300 DLSR camera has built-in GPS which allows location data to be directly added to the metadata of each image once it's enabled. You can then view the location information either by looking at it in playback on the camera or by uploading your images to a computer and viewing the metadata with Nikon's ViewNX-i software. In addition, data location information can be viewed when images are transferred to a smart device that is running the Wireless Mobile Utility application.
