• The lenses provided in this Nikon D5600 DSLR kit are AF-P type lenses. These types of lenses are not compatible with the Nikon D5100 DSLR camera but are completely compatible with the Nikon D5600 DSLR camera. Compatible lens types that can be used fully with both the D5100 and the D5600 are AF-S and newer E-type lenses. AI and AF-types can also be used with both these cameras but will have limitions.
