There are many differences between these two camera bodies, one difference between them is that the Nikon D7200 has a built-in motor and the Nikon D5600 does not, meaning there are more lens choices available for the D7200. Another difference is the number of AF points; D7200 gives you a maximum of 51 points, while the D5600 allows only 39 points of focus. In terms of portability the Nikon D7200 body is about 23.9 ounces (675 g) and the Nikon D5600 is approximately 14.7 ounces (415 g), making the D5600 body extremely easy to travel with. Both cameras have built-in WiFi but the Nikon D5600 also has built-in Bluetooth technology, which allows the camera to have a constant connection with a compatible smart device running the SnapBridge application, so images are transferred the instant you take them with this camera. Either camera would be a great addition to any growing camera bag. If you want to learn more about these two cameras please contact Nikon Support.
