The Nikon D7200 DSLR Two Lens kit makes an excellent gift for photography. It has an auto mode for DSLR novice users and a large variety of modes and settings for advanced use. With it's low-light shooting capability and ability to shoot at 6 frames per second, the D7200 is ideal for photographers who don't want to miss out on any of the action. Nikon also makes DSLR camera kits for beginner photographers as well; D3300 and D3400 camera kits have an easy-to-use, on-camera guide mode to help the user capture stunning images as it teaches the basics of photography.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I'd recommend D3XXX or D5XXX.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is a very good camera. But, I do not recommend the 70-300 lens. Talk to bestbuy they should have this camera with an 18-140mm lens for the same price. Get that and it should do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It seems to be a popular way to go as far as camera makers approach what they think the buying public wants. But do they really know what your wife wants to take photos of as she begins her new pastime? It is an excellent APS sensor equipped camera. May I suggest purchase just the camera body. To go with the body purchase the 50mm/f1.8 lens. Or the 35mm./f1.8 In the world of lenses these relatively inexpensive lenses are so much faster in poor/low light conditions than the kit lenses. That is they can gather more of the available light which can translate into faster shutter speeds. And faster shutter speeds are easier to hand hold and will do a better job of freezing motion. And less to have to fiddle with for a beginner. No missed shots because she is debating whether or not to switch lenses. As your wife gains experience and begins to realize what other lens or lenses would best suit her approach to photography she can explore the whole wide world of lens options available to her. But there will always be a spot in the bag for the trusty 50mm.
