The AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is compatible with the D750. You should be aware, the lens is made for a camera with a smaller size sensor. When attached to the D750 - which has a full frame sensor, you will see a crop window in the optical viewfinder. You would have to reference the manufacturer of the third part lens for the 18-400 from Tamron.
