Yes it will. Shooting in manual mode recently I took several nice pictures at a rodeo event. Using Slight exposure compensation (+.03) and an ISO of 10,000 with a shutter speed of 1/500 and aperature of 6.3 I shot about 600 frames. Only a handful of those we’re underexposed (my fault). I was using the kit lens 70-300 mm at 300 mm (450 crop mode). If you’re not familiar shooting in manual it may take a little practice, but I found the camera very intuitive.
