• A:Answer Yes, the Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight External Flash is compatible with the Nikon D3500. Note that the Nikon D3500 does not have built-in commander mode so you would need to add a Nikon Creative Lighting System compatible commander, such as the Nikon SU-800 or another Nikon CLS flash, to wirelessly trigger Nikon Speedlights. Additionally, the Nikon D3500 is not capable of Radio-controlled Advanced Wireless Lighting.

• A:Answer Yes. The Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight is compatible with the Nikon D610 DSLR camera. This speedlight features a new internal cooling system, which prevents overheating of the flash panel from consecutive firings. As a result, the SB-5000 can fire consecutively for longer than conventional models, without flash cool-down time between bursts, and can fire up to 120 continuous shots at 5 second intervals. In addition the controls on the SB-5000 are streamlined for easy access. This speedlight can be triggered remotely using the D610's built-in flash with commander mode. The SB-5000 also has a radio control option, but that feature is not supported by the Nikon D610.
