- Answer You are able to fill the reservoir to the max fill like and only make one cup of coffee. You simply select the brew style and size you want and start your brew.

- Answer The permanent filter is a hard plastic with a wire mesh if that's what you're talking about. I still use disposable coffee filters with it. I absolutely love my ninja.

- Answer It depends. If you are making just a single cup of coffee then every few days would be okay. You could get 2 days out of a half a pot of coffee. A full pot of coffee would use the whole water storage.
