A:AnswerYes it does. It uses the #4 size. It does come with a reusable metal mesh one, but we don't use that. The mesh is too hard for me to clean. I like simple an easy.

A:AnswerWe would like to inform you that this system does not have a thermal carafe version. With this being said, there are other Ninja coffee systems that do have a thermal carafe version.
A:AnswerYes, I know for a fact it uses a horseshoe shaped tubular noncoated aluminum heating element.
I took mine apart to prove it. Plus Ninja will admit it's aluminum, in an indirect manner of course. Now there's a company who really cares for the welfare of its customers -- Not.
A:AnswerWe would like to inform you that the CE251 and CE201 are from the same series with the same functions. The difference is that the CE251 has a stainless steel finish.
A:AnswerIt is programmable. You hit the brew button as well as the button beside it, select the brew type, it will flash and your all set for the morning.
A:AnswerI would contact ninja. They are very helpful when it comes to their products. I had one go out during my warranty period and they were very helpful and understanding. You can find the number in the paperwork or look it up online.
A:AnswerI always just press the red stay warm button off. You can also press the power button down below, but you'll have to push it again next time you want to brew to turn the machine back on.
A:AnswerAt the time I purchased mine, (6 months ago) people said there were no replacement karafes. (You could check at the Best buy store in case someone returned a machine but the karafe was still intact.) Reviewers mentioned that it was a good idea to buy the replacement plan when buying this Brim coffee pot, which is a good thing I did. My previous Brim coffeemaker stopped making the individual cups 3 months after I purchased it (regular side still worked). Then they replaced it, and the carafe was broken. So, it is a really good idea to get the replacement plan on a coffee maker. Most of them break down after a short time. I still really like this coffee pot though.
