“How long is the cord? If the outlet is low will it be practical?”

• It's about 4 foot long. We ended up connecting it to a surge protector/power strip, then mounting the power strip underneath the edge of the counter. This also gave the added benefit of having extra outlets in reach for phone chargers, computer cords, etc.
