• Dont know about the 101, but, i would definately say the XL would. I am air frying steak tomorrow.

• The basket for the AF161 Air Fryer Max XL has a larger capacity at 5.5 quarts, and adds the "Air Broil" and "Max Crisp" functions. The AF101 Air Fryer does have a roasting function similar to the AF161, but the capacity is smaller at 4 quarts.
