• Yes you use the rack to cook different items at once. I use mine to cook asparagus on one level and salmon or chicken on the other.

• Rack sits on top of the first layer of food. Have to stop and stir , shake etc. both layers for even cooking. Rack lifts off first layer with attached handles, will be hot at first
