- Answer This air fryer is free of all of your above-mentioned pestilences. Except for its exterior, hard plastic, parts it is made of an all metal construction. The basket has a safe non-stick coating and is hand-washable as well as dishwasher safe. Hope this helps.

QuestionI have bought 2 air fryers and loved them but after cooking with them less than 5 or 6 times the paint or coating on the basket starts peeling off and obviously I don’t want that. Does the Ninja have the same issue or is there some sort of warranty?

QuestionFirst few times cooking was great. Then I noticed that crisper plate pops up after I washed it it doesn't fit as snug is this a problem

- Answer It does fit snug, the reason why it pops up is the grease on the rubber. The moment you put something to cook it stay put.

QuestionWhen I purchased this Ninja air fryer. It said model AF101, but when I received it. It is the model AF100. Are they the same? Also the description said there is a multi layer rack comes with it. And the one I received didn't come with the rack.

- Answer The product is the same except the AF100 does not come with the second level stainless steel cooking grate. If you payed for the AF101 and the unit itself says it’s a AF100, have Best Buy customer service call NINJA and the will send you one in 3 days, no charge.

QuestionHow long is the cord? If the outlet is low will it be practical?

- Answer It's about 4 foot long. We ended up connecting it to a surge protector/power strip, then mounting the power strip underneath the edge of the counter. This also gave the added benefit of having extra outlets in reach for phone chargers, computer cords, etc.

- Answer The fan is above the basket, blowing around what’s in the basket, so light items burn, and then it’s difficult to clean.
