• No. Unless your filter is super clean. But I'm sure it might have a coffee taste to it.

• If using loose leaf tea I dont see why you couldn't as long as you're using a filter. If bagged tea, the machine will "brew" a nice cup of hot water to steep the bag in. That being said, I havent tries it with loose leaf.

• You can use it to "brew" hot water if you don't fill the coffee basket. The water will be very hot, but I do not have a way to measure the exact temperature. If you brew temperature-sensitive tea, you may want to wait for more information.
