A:AnswerThis has a separate device for frothing, as for espresso I just buy the ground espresso and put it in the he filter and set it to specialty brew (it's a concentrated form) it makes about one shots worth of espresso then I rinse the filter and put my regular ground coffee in there and hit brew then toss my espresso in there after. So yes you actually can make espresso when you have the powder and set it for specialty
