A:AnswerWell We have the Ninja Foodi I purchased for husband who loves to air fry with it. I bought the grill for exactly that the grill. Was hoping they just had the grill with out all the others features also gifted to my husband. Bought for Fathers day and we use it for every meal. The grill is so good and literally no smoke in the house which amazes my husband. The air fryer on the grill not bad just doesn't compare to the Foodi. At first I thought we may return before I gifted since it seams redundant but once he used it forget it. If they had the option of just a grill lower price perfect. If you don't have either appliances I would probably go with the Foodi but if wanting a grill this is it. They are investments in the kitchen and easy to clean. We love both can't go wrong with which ever you choose. Makes cooking so much easier and tasty. Hope this helped.
A:AnswerWe would like to inform you that you can grill a sandwich in this machine. To get grill marks on both sides, you will need to manually flip the sandwich, as it is not a sandwich press.
A:AnswerYes, you can my Daughter used a pan that was actually able to fit in the grill for a small casserole in at one time for macaroni and cheese ….,actually surprised me
A:AnswerOur Ninja Foodi Smart XL 6-in-1 Indoor Grill has a wider cooking surface (12in. W by 9in. D), and adds the Broil function. The Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill has a cooking surface of 10in. W by 10in D.
A:AnswerThe drip pan and the air frying basket are indeed ceramic coated. The grill I'm not sure - it might be teflon or some other non-stick surface, but it is VERY durable!
A:AnswerFor perfect, juicy chicken breasts, place 2 full chicken breasts in the center of the grill rack. (Season to
liking) Cook on grill setting. Set it to high for 30 minutes. Flip it in 15 minutes, and finish cooking.. They will be golden on the outside, and really juicy on the inside..enjoy..
I have not cooked burgers on it yet..
A:AnswerThe Ninja Foodi Grill would not be ideal would not be used as a panini press as there is not a grill grate on the top. At this time Ninja does not offer a product with this function. With that being said, we will keep this information in mind when releasing products in the future.
A:AnswerThis system is a grill and does not offer dual layer cooking. You would be able to grill a steak and potatoes on the same grill using the same temperature.
A:AnswerNinja - Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill with 4-qt Air Fryer, Roast, Bake, & Dehydrate - Stainless Steel/Black AG301 does not have the option for a thermometer.
A:AnswerYes the big solid pan always remains. There is another basket for air frying and veggies that will replace the grill if that's what your doing (all inside the big solid pan). There is a griddle pan that fits this model although if you have a griddle already I would recommend using what you have as the one for this is pretty small. If you are living single or w/e this may work for you though.
A:AnswerIf you follow directions and recommendations from Nija, this a great cooker. I have the AG302 and use it almost every day. Yes I bake cakes, cookies, Texas toast, potatoes.. People with smoke problems ignore the recommendations from Shark/Nija. USE a high temp oil. not olive oil etc..
A:AnswerI didn't measure it with a tape measure, but the air frying basket is rated at 4 qts, which is about the equivalent of a 14X10X2 cake pan. But I would say the air fryer is about 3-4 inches deep, and about 10X10 inches width and length. It's about the same length as it is wide. It holds about an entire bag of frozen french fries if that helps (the small bag, not the giant one). I think it's rated at holding 2 pounds of frozen fries by way of example. The grilling grate is 10X10 and the frying basket fits in the same cooking pot as the grill grate. Hope that helps!
