YES, My cabinets are from the old days and are 15.5" from my new granite countertops, I have used this air fryer 3 times now and although I cannot stand this up to store it it has not given me any problems. I pull the oven out about 3" from my tiled backsplash before using so it has good airflow. We really Love this new addition to our busy kitchen and will enjoy it much more come summer when I don't have to use my big oven and heat up the whole house for a couple cookies or quick toast.
