A:AnswerThe Ninja Toaster Oven will be hot to the touch on the exterior, however, it should not radiate a lot of heat. The recommended temperature for dehydrating fruit will depend on the fruit you are dehydrating and your desired doneness. The temperatures will range from 105F to 195F.
A:AnswerThey seem nearly identical except the 102a is a 9 in 1 with a reheat function that is not included in this sp101 model with 8 in 1. Also the front display indicators are arranged just slightly different to accomadate the added function. Basically though they are the same.
A:AnswerHi Jean,
Believe it or not, Chrome Steel is not Stainless Steel. Chrome Steel includes AISI 52100, En31, SUJ2, 100Cr6, 100C6, DIN 5401 which are used for applications such bearings, tools, drills and utensils. Chrome Steel is non-toxic to the end user. The process of chrome plating using hexavalent chromium causes cancer but modern processes have drastically changed since 1975. This was the contaminate in the water in the movie Erin Brockovich. The chrome steel in the appliance is safe. I hope that answers your question.
