    • Answer Ninja - Foodi 8-in-1 Digital Air Fry Oven, Toaster, Flip-Away Storage, Dehydrate, Keep Warm - Stainless Steel/Black cleaning steps can be seen here: Everyday Cleaning: 1) Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning. 2) Empty the crumb tray by sliding it out of the oven when the oven is in the flipped-down position. 3) To clean the exterior of the main unit and the control panel, wipe clean with a damp cloth. Deep Cleaning: 1) Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning. 2) Remove all accessories from the unit, including the crumb tray, and wash separately. 3) Flip the oven up into the storage position. 4) Press the push button to release the back door to access the oven's interior. 5) Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior. Abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, and chemical cleaners will damage the oven. NEVER put the main unit in the dishwasher or immerse it in water or any other liquid. **Note: only the Sheet Pan and Air Fry basket are dishwasher safe. 6.) Thoroughly dry all parts before placing them back in the oven.

    • Answer Yes safe as far as no fumes goes. Never let them near it when it is hot. I have two cockatiels and they are fine with it I flip it up to store so birds don’t chew on the cord. Hope this helps.

    • Answer Remove all of the trays. Set it to air fry 400 degrees and turn it on. It will smoke. You might want to put it in the garage.

    • Answer Ninja Foodi XL Pro 10 in 1 (Model DT201) cannot be changed. Unit must be replaced. They will replace unit if still under the 1 year warranty (you pay shipping) but if it's not your either going without a light or buying a new one. Terrible design!! I will not purchase any more of their products. Very disappointed.

  • QuestionHow do you clean the interior of this air fryer?

    • Answer Accessing the inside is easy enough, but what many (myself included) find is cooked-on grease that WILL NOT come off by, "[Using] warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or a non-abrasive cleaning brush..." (Owner Manual) I purposely wanted to pass along a cleaning tip that I found to be effective, but not entirely satisfactory (as shown in the lower left corner of the included image). Do a web search for: simple green how to clean an air fryer. The description at the site helped me get off about 80% of the grease residue. Also, an old toothbrush will come in handy. :) DISCLAIMER: I am in no way affiliated with the sites, products, or businesses alluded to in this review.
