The outside, the inside, the racks, the pans, and trays are all stainless steel. Additionally, we evaluate the safety of materials and chemicals used in GE brand appliances through our hazardous substances management process. A: Hello- We appreciate you checking with us. However, we aren't sure if this is the correct extension cord to use. We always recommend plugging the toaster oven into a grounded outlet. Never try to plug a three-pronged appliance into an un-grounded extension cord. You can use an extension cord with your toaster oven, provided the marked electrical rating of the cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance (1500 Watts). We recommend “appliance” type extension cords. Ensure the cord is arranged so that it cannot be pulled on by children or tripped over. Q: Does the outside of oven get hot?

The Quartz Heating Element will toast, bake or broil foods quickly thanks to the rapid quartz heating elements that combine with the halogen elements to deliver a faster preheat. Q: What’s the crumb tray made of it dosent look stainless steel? Is it non stick and plastic handle?
