QuestionThis is a real question, I'm doing a science project and need to know if this can blend a shoe(sneaker). Just one, is this blender strong enough? If not, which do you recommend? Thanks.

- Answer I guess it would depend on the type of shoe. If it's a large sneaker with a think sole...probably not...maybe a small, thin sneaker like Keds? But my main concern would be the container...it's plastic...so with a large heavy item I think it would be more prone to breaking than a glass one. My thoughts....

QuestionWe purchased the Ninja 1000 a few weeks ago to use in our camper. When powered on, the power light blinks on and off and we cannot get it to blend. Tried it on our house current with the same result. Is there a "switch" we may not have turned on?

- Answer The blender needs to set on base and lid attached properly and closed for it to work. The power light will blink if blender is not on base correctly or the lid is not secure and locked into place.
