• Yes,it is for the cups and not the pitcher

• Yes, when you blend in the 24oz cup and click the cap into place, the button will light up and you can press it.

• We would like to let you know that the Vitamin and Nutrient Extraction is a button to be able to use that setting that can only be used with the cups.
