It crushes the ice better than any other small kitchen device I’ve ever used. It doesn’t shave ice but crushes it. I use frozen whole strawberries and blueberries with 1/4 cup of juice and it makes fantastic smoothies. It leaves no whole or pieces of fruit at all. It’s the best machine out there. This is my second one. I had my other one for over 10 years. It finally gave out. I will always have a Ninja in my kitchen.
