QuestionIs the twist tamper removable? Can blender operate without it?

- Answer No the tamper isn’t removable. Also hard to clean the lid, have to clean under rubber and stuff. I really love the size and looks of this blender though.

Questionhow well does this product work when adding hot liquid. For instance, making a soup puree. Will the base or the lid leak? I usually hold a towel over the lid of my current blender to prevent explosions.

QuestionPurchased Ninja Blender at Best Buy. The power went off in the house as I was only 10 seconds into a smoothie 60 second blend. Now when I push the button it only shows 50 seconds but will blend. Is there a reset?

- Answer In my experience the smoothie option has a preset amount of times despite the ingredients you add. It doesn't sense nor adjust to the ingredients it just follows the predetermined pattern.
