• I guess you could use it over a gas grill. But I wouldn't recommend it.

• It is made for the ninja Woodfire. It is made of the same material as the ninja grill I cannot imagine why anyone would attempt to use it in any way other than on the ninja

• I don’t know what the material is but I wouldn’t recommend using it over open flame. It is a nice addition to the Ninja, though

• It's ceramic coated non-stick, it measures 14x11 and would not work with a fire pit or gas grill as it is specifically made to fit in the Ninja Woodfire Grill.
