- Answer I used "cowboy" brand mesquite chips just fine. Make sure to use full load so the ignitor lights them. If ingition fails, press fire button and hold for 5 sec to try ignition again.

- Answer You need to press a small white button “reset” on the black plug, then you can see an orange light on it. Also you need to turn it on, small button on the left hand side under the main body.

QuestionWhat extension cord do I use with this grill?

- Answer Per the manual you should not use an extension cord, but if you get a good 15 amp rated 3 prong grounded cord you should be fine. That is the only drawback is the cord is not as long as it probably should be. Make sure you have GFCI outlet. safety first for outdoor electric items. Protect it from the weather. The cover is very good, but it should not sit in direct rain no matter.
