The Woodfire Outdoor Oven is designed for outdoor use only. It should not be used in enclosed or semi-enclosed areas, even if they are well-ventilated or screened in. This includes covered lanais or under trusses, due to potential safety risks like heat buildup, smoke, or fire hazards. For the safest operation, the oven should be placed in a fully open outdoor space with at least 3 feet of clearance from walls, ceilings, and other structures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is under an 8 x 8 steel top gazebo and I have no problems at all. The only time I’d moved it more to the side is when there are a lot of children around so that they can’t be any accidents. I do recommend putting it on top of a higher table.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is best to use outdoors due to an occasional spill that may cause it to smoke more. Also, when in the smoke wood pellet function, it can smoke very well like a bbq grill smokes. You may want to run an outdoor cord or use a plug on your deck just to be safe with the smoke. I have done ribs, pork shoulders, and pizza and was glad that I was outdoors with my oven due to occasional smoke while cooking.
