All of the newer made amiibo are global varients. These are sold all the same regardless of country. So you didnt get a Japanese import, you just got a new global version.

When pre- ordered I choose the Bayonetta player 2 amiibo that was shown, but I received the now pictured player 1. Best Buy took the item page down almost immediately or changed it's appearance on July 26 the day they were made available. So I returned their garbage, and will try to stick with gamestop.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure if mine is a Japanese import. It does have both Japanese and english writing on it. I did however recieve the wrong one. The one that was pictured and the one I ordered isnt the same one I recieved.
