A:Answer To the other responder, I believe you are mistaken. Afterall, all previous Smash Zelda amiibos work in Breath of the Wild and give exclusive items. In fact, ALL amiibos work with BOTW, only Zelda-related ones drop non-generic items. Because of this, we have no reason to believe this amiibo won't also unlock something exclusive in the game. It isn't confirmed yet, but logically it will. So to the OP, I will say with a resounding YES it will work with BOTW, we just won't know if it does anything special.
