“I'm not familiar with Nintendo. Is the fortnite bundle the same as playing it on xbox? Can you play xbox players on the Nintendo? Also does the Nintendo switch console have actual disk games or does everything need to be downloaded?”

Fortnite is cross platform, you can play against any system. Note: Switch is limited to 30 FPS, last years Xbox/Playstation 4 are 60 FPS and I believe both the new generation are 120FPS on fortnite. Plays fine as long as you are not super competitive.

This can connect to the TV, be a tablet, be a two player tablet game with controllers, two player game using the TV, single player game. This system is also portable and can be used on the go. The fortnite game is the same.

You can purchase Nintendo Switch games in physical or digital versions, like PS4 and Xbox. The games are on small cartridges, not a Bluray disc.
