- Answer Hi yes all they need is the code and they enter that on their account in the nitendo store on the switch where it says redeem code. However whichever account it is placed on would be the head of the family membership.

- Answer When I bought it this way, it comes as a long code with instructions to redeem in an email separate from the order (doesn't show the price). So I guess you could forward the email, or you can write down the code in a physical card and give that. However, I got this for myself, so there may be "gift options" during checkout to have the email sent to an email address other than the one the order was done on, that might be better.

- Answer Only if you use the same profile on both devices. I do this with my kids, they each have their own profiles for cartridge games. Then I made one for myself and its on each switch. When i buy a game digitally i buy it to the shared account and they can run it that way.
