A:AnswerIt'll work on pretty much anything that you can adhere the Puck to. Rubberized covers don't seem to hold the adhesive as well as smoother surfaces do.
A:AnswerI placed mine on the outside of my case and it works well. That being said, the magnet is very strong and I could see it holding through a thin case.
