• The Samsung QLED TV's come with a separate box that everything plugs into. I.e. bluray player, soundbar. This separate box has a very thin fiber optic cable that connects to the TV. Very thin and almost invisible, very unique and clean setup. No cables at all to TV, other than the fiber optic. The gap space for me was less than 1\2 inch.

• Cord length is important. Receptacle must be recessed into the wall. Samsung can answer that question also. (Q TV, 55")
