- Answer yes and no...yes it will work if u use a imei number on a phone that att will say they accept...activate that sim card with that imei after its activated then switch it to this phone...if ur talking about if the nokia 225 will activate directly with att then NO...but actually does support att's towers its just att is trying to force its phone choices instead of reconizing that there are more compatible phones like this one
