From a hardware standpoint this phone will work nearly anywhere in the world. The caveat is that your actual experience depends MUCH more heavily on your cell phone plan and provider. If you plan on getting a SIM from a local provider where you plan to travel than this phone should work very well. If you plan to use your existing SIM/plan/number than you should talk to your provider about what the options and costs associated with doing so are going to be before you leave.
