• It does NOT work with a Lifeproof case. They should be more up front in their description. But I'm sure if they put that in their description they wouldn't sell many units.

• It will work with most cases as long as the case doesn't normally have a cover over the charging port - many otterbox cases do have a cover over the charging port. The lightning connector is adjustable up and down to work with many cases.

• It has a switch on the base that extends the plug up higher put of the base. I haven't tried with an otter box but it should work.

• The port is adjustable and raises pretty high. So it should work with any case. Even a thick one.
