• It depends on what you're looking for in a workout. If you're a male wanting to bulk up, you're going to require heavy weights and this machine won't do what you're looking for. If you're wanting to lose weight and tone, then this machine is for you. I like that it gives constant tension on your muscles for a great workout.

• They serve two different functions. Obviously nothing will replace physical weights, as the Fusion works off of magnetic resistance. If you are looking to save space and use for more cardio/strength toning, and not heavy lifting then the Fusion is great. It is good to supplement with real weights.
