• A:Answer It is -really- heavy and hard to move. I have mine backed up to a wall and there's really no way to save any more space. Most of the space you need is for doing the exercises.

Q: QuestionHow hard is this to set up? I will have to do it myself.

• A:Answer I put it together by myself. There's not a lot to put together because the center tower comes assembled. However the pieces are heavy especially the base pieces so you will be trying to balance the center tower while trying to stick the bolts for the 2 base/ legs in. This is the hardest part of the assembly but it can be done by yourself if you're careful.

Q: QuestionI have a bad hip . I need to do the exercises sitting down. Can you do the exercises sitting down on this machine ?

• A:Answer You would only be able to do a portion of the exercises that the machine is capable of and that are parts of the iFit programs. You would also need a bench or something to sit on to go with it. While the unit is awesome and provides very dynamic and challenging workouts, I would say that given your stated limitations it would probably be better to look at other options. If you do go with this unit, inspect it carefully for damage when it is delivered. I followed NordicTrack's labeling recommendation to work with them on damaged parts and tried to get two parts replaced through them, instead of returning it to the store...It hasn't been a great experience.

Q: QuestionAre the legs and the arms installed when it arrives? I would be moving it down a flight of stairs into my basement workout room. I'm not worried about the weight. I am worried about the awkward position to fit down a stairway without damaging the walls

• A:Answer The arms are connected to the main unit and folded straight down. When setting up they just fold up and each one gets a bolt. The legs are not attached at all. They get put on with 4 bolts a piece. They are super heavy and take some finessing to line up and attach to body. It was easy to move down into my basement. Had no problems.

Q: QuestionIs this one free-standing? I was looking at the other Fusion CST available at Best Buy for $100 less. I was going to get it but looked at the questions and found out it has to be mounted on the wall studs. That's a nonstarter for me.

For a comfortable workout environment, we recommend giving yourself about 5 additional feet in front of the machine for your workouts. This is generous. A workout can be completed in tighter spaces.
